Canning Workshop Held July 16
The Alleghany / Covington Office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service held a Canning Workshop on July 16 at Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church in Covington. The Virginia Cooperative Extension Office offers free pressure canner gauge testing – all you need to bring is your pressure canner lid. If you have any questions regarding canning or would like to have your pressure dial gauge canner lid tested, please call the office at 862-0369.
