It is with sad hearts that we bid farewell to Joanne Hutton who has served as Master Gardener Program Coordinator, Arlington Community Garden program coordinator, and Horticulture Technician over the past 6 years. Much of what the Master Gardener and Horticulture education efforts have accomplished over these years have been made possible through the initiatives and ground work that has been laid by her.  Her resignation leaves us with very large shoes to fill.  It will be impossible to replace the accumulated experience and networking that Joanne has done for our program.  It has been a rare privilege to have such an organized, professional, enthusiastic and efficient coworker. Many thanks to Joanne for her years of service to Arlington County, Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia.
