Augusta Archers 4-H Club
Augusta Archers 4-H Club will hold their first organizational meeting on October 6th at the Augusta Archers Clubhouse located at 31 Archery Lane in Staunton. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. The club is open to youth ages 9-19 who have an interest in archery. Parents are encouraged to become volunteers and help with club activities. We are one of the newest 4-H clubs, however, we are growing fast. We have been busy the past few months. Our early meetings consisted of learning about archery safety. We learned the parts of the bow and even played “ bow bingo”.
At our January meeting ,we elected the following officers:
President-Chandler McClister, Vice-President-Colton Buchanan, Secretary-Ryan Sensabaugh, Treasurer- McKinnelly Ramsey, Reporter-Emily Bednarczyk and Pledge Leader-Westin McClister.
We have been working on our presentations for the 4-H Presentations and Pubic Speaking Contest. The following members plan to give presentations, Chandler McClister, McKinnelly Ramsey, Ethan Avery, Thomas Cason, Jacob Dedrick, and Savanna Crawford.
The Augusta Archers 4-H Club meets the first Thursday of each month and new members are always welcome.
