The Willing Workers 4-H Club is in the process of reorganizing their club with new organizational leaders and officers to start the new 4-H year. Our club met on September 13th to discuss 4-H activities for the upcoming year.The club voted to have a concession stand at the Purina Event at the Augusta Co-Operative Farm Bureau on October 2nd. Club meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month from September until May at the Weyers Cave Community Center. Meetings start at 7 p.m.  Visitors and new members are always welcome.

 

The Willing Workers 4-H club held their monthly meeting on October 11th at the Weyers Cave Community center. New business included reminders about the following events:
4-H New Officer Training on November 1 at the Government Center
Market Animal Show Steer Weigh In on November 6th
4-H Achievement Night on November 20th

Members completed their enrollment forms for the new year and the club elected new officers. We also discussed projects and trips for the upcoming 4-H year.

  The Willing Workers 4-H Club held their monthly meeting on Monday, January 9th,2012 at the Weyers Cave Community Center. They discussed projects and ideas for the upcoming months. We also discussed putting up Christmas lights at the Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton next December.

The club voted to send a contribution to two Chesterfield County 4-H teens who had been injured in an automobile accident and also one local teen. 4-H member, Tucker McCray volunteered to speak on his 4-H experience at the upcoming annual Market Animal Show Meeting on January 24 at the Augusta County Government Center.
