We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

If you have limited English skills, do not let that stop you from visiting an Extension office. If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, our staff can serve you by connecting you to one of our Extension agents through a telephone-based interpreter. 2016 ServSafe Food Manager Training

When: August 25 & 26, October 27 & 28, 2016

Where: All classes will be held at Lynchburg General Hospital in the private dining room 1901 Tate Springs Rd., Lynchburg, VA

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Registration: Pre-Registration is required. There is a $150.00 fee for this course. The fee includes course materials, book, instruction, exam and certificate.

Lynchburg Area Home Water Testing

The Virginia Household Water Quality Program aims to improve the water quality and health of Virginians with wells, springs and cisterns. We provide affordable water testing, help interpreting their water test results, and information about addressing problems.

Cost: $52 per sample kit. Checks and cash accepted. Make checks payable to each locality extension office of your testing location.
