The Botetourt County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University.

Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Botetourt County improve their lives.

If you have limited English skills, do not let that stop you from visiting an Extension office. If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, our staff can serve you by connecting you to one of our Extension agents through a telephone-based interpreter. Botetourt 2016 4-H Camp, June 13 - 17, 2016 at the W.E Skelton 4-H Educational Center at Smith Mountain Lake, Wirtz, VA 

Botetourt 4-H Camp is open to all boys and girls ages 9 to 13 years old as of September 30, 2016 or turn 14 years old during 2016

Registration for 4-H Camp will begin on, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 (no registrations will be accepted before this date)

Don't delay, there are limited spots, it is first come, first serve.

Wednesday, June 22, 2016, between 7:30 am and 10:00 am, drop off your water sample(s) from your tap at home 

Thursday, July 21, 2016, 6:00 pm - pick up your confidential test results and what the numbers mean
