CHARACTER COUNTS! is based on the six pillars of character – TRUSTWORTHINESS, RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, FAIRNESS, CARING AND CITIZENSHIP. CHARACTER COUNTS! helps kids make better decisions to make everyone’s life better. It improves the lives of the adults who work with it and the communities and schools that embrace it.

If you see anyone exhibiting one or more of the six pillars of character, nominate them for the “Good CHARACTER COUNTS!” Award, a county-wide recognition by the Botetourt County CHARACTER COUNTS! Leadership Council.
