Work Experience:
Debbie has been involved with VCE Childcare programs for 15 years.  In her position of Child Care Coordinator of the Caroline County Child Care Resource & Referral Agency of Virginia Cooperative Extension, she educates parents on the importance of recognizing quality early childhood programs.  In addition, she provides child care referrals to county residents, and recruits child care providers to meet the needs of county residents.  Debbie also provides professional development opportunities and training to child care providers so they are able to maintain their state licensing credentials.

Debbie works closely with other state and county agencies to ensure better lives for area children.  She is currently also providing parenting classes for court ordered parents, and she serves as a state mentor for the Virginia Star Quality Initiative.
