Bill has been with Virginia Cooperative Extension for 28 years serving first in Bedford County for six years and Page County for the past 22 years. For the past thirteen years he has been the Farm Business Management Agent for PD 7.

Education
BS - Animal Science  - Clemson University 1975
MS - Animal Breeding and Genetics -  Virginia Tech 1979     

Work Experience
Since 1975 Bill has worked for Cooperative Extension in South Carolina and Virginia, spent a year managing a commercial and purebred beef operation in South Carolina, and two years managing the Rollins Beef Research and Bull Testing Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. During his career he has served as a general agricultural extension agent and later specializing in Animal Science in Bedford County and Page County. In 1996 he joined the Farm Business Management staff of Virginia Cooperative Extension.

Received the NAACA Distinguished Service Award in 2007
