The 2012 SE Conservation Tillage Program was held on February 8, 2012 at the Keystone Tractor Works Museum in Colonial Heights, VA.  There were over 160 participants and several vendors at the program.

The 2011 Southeast Virginia Conservation Tillage Meeting was held on Feb. 10, 2011 at Eastside Community Enhancement Center.  There were 120 participants from across the state that listened and participated in several topics on Conservation Tillage.  There was also a panel discussion where participants were able to interact and learn from local agriculture producers.  Local members of the panel were Maxwell Watkins, Chip Bain, Mark Spiers, and Billy Bain.  The program was conducted by Dinwiddie Extension, NRCS and the ARSWCD.  The trio of pictures below were taken during the meeting:

Below is an image of the planting of strip-till tobacco in Dinwiddie in May of 2011.  This is the only combined strip-till and planter units in the state!!
