Lenah Nguyen
Lenah oversees Fairfax County's 4-H clubs and other educational programs which include school enrichment, special interest groups, camping, and individual study. Fairfax County is home to 17 4-H clubs which include five community clubs, seven project clubs, and five Cloverbud clubs. School enrichment programs include Embryology and Ready, Set, Grow. As the 4-H Extension Agent, Lenah supports 4-H membership by offering workshops, presentations, and events throughout the year in which 4-H members may participate and further develop citizenship, leadership, and life skills. She is responsible for planning and implementing programs such as Contest Day, Share the Fun, the Fairfax County 4-H Fair and Frying Pan Farm Park Show, 4-H Camp, and many others.
The Fairfax County 4-H program maintains strong partnerships with Fairfax County Community and Recreation Services, Fairfax County Public Schools, and Frying Pan Farm Park. New initiatives in 4-H include a partnership with the County Computer Learning Center Partnership to provide GIS service learning experiences for youth at those centers. Lenah also participates with the Fairfax County Extension Leadership Council.

Experience
2005 - 2007 Peace Corps Volunteer developing sustainable environmental projects with an Andean Community in Peru
Prior to the Peace Corps Service, she worked on several organic vegetable farms throughout the US.
