2014 New River Valley Master Gardener Training Program
Now Accepting Applications
Are you looking for a way to improve your community through volunteer service? Do you have an interest in horticulture? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, begin a Master Gardener may be right for you!
Virginia Cooperative Extension is now accepting applications for the 2014 NRV Master Gardener Training Program
- Applicants must be able to attend a 60-hour training program complete 50 hours of volunteer service with Virginia Cooperative Extension during their first year
- Training classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the Virginia Tech campus
- Training classes will begin Thursday, January 16, 2014 and continue through early May
- There is a $125.00 fee to cover class materials
