As a Family Consumer Science Agent, it is my responsibility to implement programs and materials that address citizens concerns regarding food, nutrition and health, financial management, and home environment. My main job focus is providing research based programs to increase the quality of life for citizens residing in the Franklin and Henry County and the City of Martinsville.

• Design and coordinate community-based family/youth programs that foster the development of resilient families and encourage healthy behavior.
• Build a coalition with other agencies, organization and institutions to address the complex issues of families and youth.
• Seek and review grants for innovative programs to address identified issues and needs of network and coalition.

• Deliver research based programs to community and local businesses in food safety, childcare, nutrition and employment skills
