Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Training
The Goochland and Powhatan Extension offices are now accepting applications for Master Gardener Training for 2017. We will start training sessions in mid-January 2017 and meet every Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:30am - 12:30pm through early April.

Training fees are $135.00 which includes a comprehensive binder of information, any workshop or demonstration material and a Master Gardener T-shirt.
The deadline for applications is October 30, 2016.

Goochland Leadership Enterprise
The Goochland Leadership Enterprise program consists of twelve sessions and a Graduation dinner. The majority of meetings are scheduled on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at various locations around the County with one daytime meeting at the State Capital. The registration fee is the only cost to the participant and covers materials and meals during Orientation, Day at the Capital, Dinner with the Supervisors and the Graduation Dinner. Scholarships are available on a need basis. Applications will be accepted beginning June 1st, apply early as the class size is limited.
