ServSafe Classes for 2009
Serving Safe Food: Employee Food Safety Training Program Schedule
The Serving Safe Food program enhances employee understanding of food safety's major principles, including handling food through receiving, storing, and preparing and serving. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Power Kids Camp 2009
Power Kids Camp
Power Kids Camp helps youth achieve goals through fitness. Participants will use knowledge to link fitness and nutrition together and will have an understanding of what behaviors put them at risk for certain diseases. Campers will receive a t-shirt, pedometer, water bottle, lunch, snacks and awards. Any child entering into the 3rd or 4th grade is eligible to attend. The camp is July 15-17, 2009. The first 20 registrations with payment will be accepted and the camp is only $5.00 for all three days. Fill out the registration form below if you are interested.
Twin County Canning Club
With today's economy there is more and more interest in canning and processing food to save money on groceries. Grayson and Carroll County Extension offices are co-sponsoring a canning club. There is no fee to join! Just a great way to stay active, and share a lost craft! This club is open to anyone regardless of experience! If you are interested, please call Erin Kvach at 773-2491.
