Juliane Thurston

Juliane Thurston is a Family Nutrition Program Assistant serving the communities of Halifax County.  She is housed in the Halifax County School Board Office.  Juliane works with limited income youth in the community delivering nutrition education at various sites throughout the year.  

The Halifax Family Nutrition Program is always looking for community partners that are interested in providing hands-on nutrition, smart shopping, and cooking skills programs at their site.  These programs are FREE and available to all people who receive Food Stamps (SNAP), WIC, or free and reduced lunches at school.  For more information about the Family Nutrition Program in your community, please call 434/476-3145.
