Enrollment for Smart Lawns will begin again in April 2010.

• protect your neighborhood streams, lakes, ponds, and
   ultimately the Chesapeake Bay.

When you join SMART Lawns a Master Gardener Volunteer will:

1) collect a lawn Soil sample.
2) Measure your total lawn area.

You will receive:

1) a SMART Lawn Guide in the mail.
2) a lime & fertilizer plan for your lawn.

You will learn:

1) how and when to Aerate
2) how to choose the Right fertilizer and when to apply it
3) maintenance practices that prevent Trouble.
