Aleen is the part-time Horticulture Technician for the Henry County/Martinsville Unit Office.  She is also holds the title of Master Gardener Coordinator.

Aleen manages the MG greenhouse and works closely with the staff of the Blue Ridge Aquaculture Facility where the greenhouse is located.

Aleen aids the Horticulture Extension Agent in programing efforts and is co-chair of the current Master Gardener trainee class.

You can find Aleen at the Uptown Farmer's Market most every Saturday the market is open selling herbs and other plants raised in the MG greenhouse.  She and Sandra Bary, MG Volunteer, also deliver potted plants from the greenhouse to patients of Hospice and other convalescent patients.
