SpiritWorks Foundation Youth 4-H Camp 2009
The purpose of the SpiritWorks Foundation Youth Camp is to provide youth (ages 9–13),whose lives have been touched by addiction, with the opportunity to feel safe, and supported while develop life skills that promote resiliency while in the camp environment. The Spirit-Works Foundation Youth Camp will provide youth with hands-on experiences that promote leadership, self-esteem, character, and concern for others. Camp is also filled with fun, friends, leadership, learning, swimming, archery, canoeing, cookouts, crafts, sports, campfires, survival skills, etc.—all in a beautiful outdoor setting.

You're Invited -- Conversations on Poverty
On Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Virginians will have a unique opportunity to pitch their solutions for reducing poverty in their localities and statewide. In one of the largest-ever, simultaneous conversations devoted to the issue of poverty reduction, attendees are encouraged to recommend specific strategies for the Commonwealth’s Poverty Reduction Taskforce and local and state officials to consider.
