2016 Help Desk Hours
The Help Desk is a service offered at the James City County Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) office and will be open Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays April 4 through October 31 from 9 am – 12:00 noon. Citizens can call, e-mail, or come to the Extension office with questions or problems encountered in home gardening. An active master gardener or intern will research these questions and respond to the questioner. All information asked and answered is added to the electronic help desk, available at the JCC-MG website, designed to assist with gardening problems.
Turf Love Program
Turf Love is a year-round program for county residents. Soil sampling, lawn measuring, and certified Nutrient Management Plans are all components for fertilizing lawns to best reduce nutrients reaching our waterways.
