Work Experience

Project Coordinator for InterCounty Childcare Connection, the region’s child care resource and referral, Kathy Sauter has been involved in child care since moving to Virginia in 1989. Kathy has been involved in the development of the statewide Virginia Child Care Resource and Referral Network (VACCRRN), as well as the promotion and development of ICCC, receiving both recognition and funding. 

ICCC provides services for families and professionals including referrals, training, data collection and collaboration with local agencies to support and address the early care and education of ten counties in the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Although services vary based on funding sources, and are delivered via phone, internet, and in person, Kathy is housed in a satellite office in Gloucester County.   The InterCounty website address is:  www.iccc-va.org.
