Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of King George County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

Language Interpretation Services Now Available

If you have limited English skills, do not let that stop you from visiting an Extension office. If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, our staff can serve you by connecting you to one of our Extension agents through a telephone-based interpreter. Interpretation for more than 200 languages is provided. This service is free to our clients. Read more

2016 King Spotsoline 4-H Camp

4-H Junior Camp is designed for youth ages 9-13 (as of September 30, 2016). Camp dates are July 24-28, 2016, and youth travel on charter buses from King George Elementary School to the Northern Virginia 4-H Center near Front Royal, VA. Campers spend 5 days and 4 nights in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, sleep in lodges, spend time outdoors in activities such as canoeing, swimming, ropes courses and nightly campfires.
