The Louisa County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University.

Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Louisa County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

‘Living Apart, Parenting Together’

This is an educational program designed for divorcing parents with children or for parents who were never married.  The class addresses issues and strategies to make the transition as smooth as possible for children and their parents.

When:  Saturday, August 22, 9 am -1 pm

Saturday, November 7, 9am-1 pm

                        2nd floor Extension Meeting Room

                 Enter through the front door.  Follow signs to room

Fee:     $35.00   Payment: Cash, Check or money ordered.
