On Thursday, August 6, 2009 23 Middlesex 4-H Cloverbuds learned about how to count the rings of a tree to determine its age.  The campers learned the importance of trees.  Did you know that trees help make toothpaste?

The craft of the day was making paper by recycling old paper.  Each youth was able to take the screen and press out the excess water and then place the page of paper on a towel to dry.  Tomorrow we will see the results.

Besides learning how to keep the environment healthy the youth are keeping healthy by swimming in the Urbanna Town pool as part of the camp each day this week.

Cloverbud Day Camp is open to any children age 5 to 8 years old.
