Elizabeth Calen, Family Nutrition Education Assistant, The objectives of the EFNEP program is to help families and individuals with limited incomes by teaching nutrition information and food related skills, encourage healthy eating habits, and teaching skills to stretch food resources. EFNEP focuses on families with young children, pregnant women, and grandparents raising grandchildren.

 

Elizabeth will be working with the Department of Social Services and Wic throughout the summer.
