Crop Insurance Educational Program February, 2012
Virginia Cooperative Extension is offering an educational program explaining the different crop insurance coverage options and crop market outlook. There will be a sponsored lunch paid for by our local crop insurance agents. In order to make the meal arrangements, please pre-register by calling the Orange Extension Office at 540-672-1361 by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13.

Advanced Beef Cattle Management Course March 2012
There will be an Advanced Beef Cattle School held the first four Thursday nights in March (March 1, 8, 15, and 22) starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Orange Public Meeting Room. Total cost for all four nights is $50. Guest speakers include: Charles Rosson, Doug Harris, Dr. Melinda McCall, and Curt Umble, Nutritionist from Pennsylvania. Please pre-register by calling the Orange Extension Office at 540-672-1361 by Friday, February 24. The class will be limited to a maximum of 35 participants.
