Steve Hopkins

Steve plans and develops agriculturally based education programs for Orange and surrounding counties.  He specializes in livestock  production and marketing,  specifically cattle.  Steve has taken an active role in the development of the animal ID program and has delivered numerous programs to animal producers across the state.  Steve serves as Educational Advisor to the CVCA which provides value added marketing opportunities.  He is licensed as a Commercial Category 10 Pesticide Applicator, a Certified Nutrient Management Planner, and a Certified Crop Advisor.  Steve, his wife and two sons are actively involved with the Orange County 4-H program where Steve serves as the program coordinator for the county's cattle working teams.
