2013 Junior 4-H Camp - June 24 - 28, 2013
4-H Camp is a fun and exciting way for youth ages 9 to 13 to spend a week away from home. Campers from Buckingham and Prince Edward Counties spend a great week at Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center, learning new skills, making new friends, and catching up with old buddies. 4-H Camp also fosters a sense of independence and promotes important life skills. The program staff at the 4-H Center teach a core group of classes. Trained adult leaders, teen leaders (ages 14 –19), and Extension staff teach various other classes and supervise the campers during the week.
Pest Management Guides Available
The 2013 version of Virginia Cooperative Extension's Pest Management Guides are now available on our website. The guides cover Field Crops, Home Grounds and Animals, and Horticultural and Forest Crops.
Become a 4-H Volunteer
Inspire the next generation -- become a 4-H volunteer! 4-H programs look to volunteers to help our young people learn the skills they need to prepare for their futures while also having fun.
