Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Prince George County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

A thorough analysis of the situation provides context for understanding and addressing these problems. Each local office updates their situation analysis every 4-5 years.

Language Interpretation Services Now Available

If you have limited English skills, do not let that stop you from visiting an Extension office. If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, our staff can serve you by connecting you to one of our Extension agents through a telephone-based interpreter. Interpretation for more than 200 languages is provided. This service is free to our clients. Read more

4-H Summer Camp is here!

Campers! It's time again for Summer camp at the Airfield 4-H Center in Wakefield! Camping this year is going to be July 4-July 8, 2016. You will find the application below. Please make sure that the application is completely filled out and be sure to register early as space is limited. The cost is $265. You can either mail in the application or bring it by our office. If you have any questions about the application please feel free to call the office. Thanks so much and we look forward to seeing you at camp this year! :)

Teens! Summer camp will take place July 4-8, 2016 at Airfield 4-H Center. Initial meeting, Counselor, CIT partnering and room selection will take place at Prince George High School, April 18, 2016 from 2:45 to 4:30. You will find the application below. Please bring your test that is attached to the packet with you the day of training. Applications need to be turned in no later than April 18, 2016 to the Prince George County Extension Office. The 3 reference letters in your application need to be mailed or brought in by 3 different individuals to our office as well. If you have questions please feel free to contact us. :)
