VCE-Roanoke provides annual recertification training for both private and commercial pesticide applicators.

Private Applicator Recertification Sessions

Private applicators may attend recertification sessions in Roanoke, Botetourt, or Alleghany. Applicators may attend any of the sessions for recertification credit. Contact your local VCE office for details.

Commercial Applicator Recertification Session

A pesticide recertification training event for Commercial Applicators will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the Brambleton Center, 3738 Brambleton Ave SW, Roanoke VA 24018. The event will provide commercial pesticide recertification in Ornamental Pest Control and Turf Pest Control categories (3A, 3B), Demonstration/Research (10), and for registered technicians in these categories. Registration begins at 8:30 am, and the training event runs 9 am – 3 pm.

Cost for the recertification is $20, including lunch, with advanced registration by May 17, 2012. Registrations received after May 17 may not include lunch.

Please complete the registration form (click here for form) and return to the Roanoke VCE Office no later than May 17, 2012. Make checks payable to “VCE-Roanoke” or follow the directions on the registration form to submit credit card payments online.

Applicators should bring their commercial pesticide license to the program.
