Dara Booher

I am a native of Shenandoah County and was an active 4-Her through clubs, livestock judging, showing, and eventually all-stars.  I continued to participate as a collegiate 4-Her during my undergraduate in Animal and Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech.  Following my undergraduate career I completed internships with Jamestown 4-H Center coordinating their environmental education programs and with Shenandoah County as a program intern.  Shortly after getting married my husband (Matt) and I headed west where we attended Colorado State University and I received my master’s in Agricultural Extension Education.  We currently reside in Jerome (very small town) west of Edinburg.
