Join Virginia Cooperative Extension as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Lever Act, which officially established the National Cooperative Extension System. Activities are being planned throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to commemorate the centennial in 2014. Events will be held in local communities, recognition of our Extension volunteers, and even a Virginia Cooperative Extension Day on May 8! Southampton Teen Counselor and Counselor-In-Training
Isle of Wight and Southampton Junior 4-H Camp will take place June 22-26, 2015, at the Airfield 4-H Educational Center in Wakefield.
In preparation for camp, those youth interested in being a Counselor-In-Training or Teen Counselor are welcome to apply between November 17, 2014, and January 16, 2015. Youth must be between 14 and 18 years old on June 22, 2015, in order to apply.
Applications, including references, must be received by January 16, 2015, in order to be eligible.
