The Southampton County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University.

Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of Southampton County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

2015 Premium Book Cover Art Contest

Who Can Enter: Any youth Grades 3 through 12 in Southampton County and adjacent Virginia counties/cities.

Due Date: Entries are now due on or before April 1, 2015. Entries will be judged by the Board of Directors.

Winners: The Grand Prize drawing will be used on the cover of the 2015 Premium Listing Book and any promotions of the Fair as needed. Other winners’ drawings may be used in the Premium Listing Book as needed. The Fair Board reserves the right to determine the actual premium book cover used. Those entering will receive their prizes and passes before school is out.
