Stacy was raised on a small family farm in Franklin, West Virginia. She was an active member of both 4-H and FFA. While in 4-H and FFA she held numerous offices, showed livestock and received various county and state awards. Her awards include being inducted into the West Virginia All Stars, “I Dare You Leadership Award” and her American FFA Degree. Stacy’s involvement in 4-H and FFA, love for children, and working on her family farm led her to pursue a B.S. in Agricultural and Extension Education at West Virginia University. While at WVU and after graduation, she worked for the United States Department of Agriculture-Animal Plant Health Inspection Service-Plant Protection and Quarantine Programs. She also was employed as a substitute teacher in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Stacy now serves as the Extension Technician for Warren County, where she organizes and plans 4-H activities, camps and afterschool programs for local elementary schools.
