The York County/Poquoson office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University.

Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of York County/Poquoson improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

York-Poquoson Jr 4H Camp

Boys and girls ages 9-13 are invited to register for the York-Poquoson Junior 4-H Camp, held July 29-Aug 2, 2013.  This 5-day and 4-night residential camp is conducted at the Jamestown 4-H Center, Williamsburg.  

Registration will begin BY MAIL ONLY January 21. Please download the packet, fill it out completely, and mail it to the York-Poquoson Extension office at PO Box 532, Yorktown, VA 23690. York and Poquoson residents will be registered first, with other localities put on a waiting list until April 1.
